HOOD SPECIFICATIONS for the following styles:

RULNOH2-00           100%Nomex; 8.0 oz/sy

RULBNOH2-00         40% Basofil/ 60% Nomex; 5.85 oz/sy

RULFRNOH2-00       20% Nomex/ 80% FR Viscose (Lenzing); 7.0 oz/sy (Also available in Black)

RULPBH2-00            20% PBI/ 80% FR Viscose; 6.2 oz/sy

Design:

2ply hood measuring 11.6" from the top of the face opening to the bottom in front, 19" from crown to bib seam in the back, 15.5" crown to the shoulder notch on the sides.  Width is 9" from the top of the face opening to the back seam & 9.5" from the bottom of the face opening to the back seam.  The width at the bottom of the hood is 10".  The face opening is sewn with 3/8" Heavy Duty covered elastic and measures 5" relaxed/ 14" in the stretched condition. The hood is 2 ply through-out and complies with the specifications outlined in NFPA 1971 latest edition.

Construction:

All seams are sewn with 100% Nomex thread and an 8 thread flatlock safety stitch is used for both durability and a comfortable flat "butt" seam.

Testing:

All testing is performed by Underwriters Laboratories in accordance with NFPA 1971 latest edition and our hoods meet all of the required specifications (including labels).  Underwriters Laboratories also provides the quarterly testing and site visits to our manufacturing on a continuing basis.

Warranty:

All of our products are guaranteed against against Material Defects and Workmanship for the life of the hood.  Final determination of suitability of application is the sole responsibility of the user.
